Terms of Service

OVERVIEW

Welcome to Widelite. In these Terms of Service (“Terms”), “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Widelite. We operate this website and store, including all related content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”), to provide you with an online shopping experience.
Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to offer the Services.

These Terms, together with any policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy), explain your rights and responsibilities when you access or use the Services.

By visiting, browsing, interacting with, or purchasing through the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.

SECTION 1 — ACCESS, ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or that you have provided consent for any minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own or control.

To browse, create an account, or place an order, you may be asked to provide certain information (e.g., email address, billing details, payment information, and shipping address). You represent that all information you submit is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have the right to provide it.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not sell, transfer, assign, or license your account to any other person.

SECTION 2 — PRODUCTS, CONTENT & AVAILABILITY

We work to present product information as clearly and accurately as possible. However, product colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen, device, and settings. We do not guarantee that your device’s display will accurately reflect the product.

Product details, specifications, pricing, and availability may be changed without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time and may limit quantities by person, household, or region where permitted.

SECTION 3 — ORDERS & PURCHASES

Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy. Widelite may accept, reject, or limit any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, stock issues, pricing errors, or other legitimate reasons.

An order is not confirmed until we have processed payment and issued an order confirmation/acceptance. Please review your order carefully before submitting—once an order is accepted, cancellation or changes may not be possible.

If we cancel or modify an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided at checkout.

Returns and refunds are handled only according to our Return & Refund Policy.

You confirm that purchases are for personal/household use and not for commercial resale or export.

SECTION 4 — PRICING, PROMOTIONS & BILLING

Prices, promotions, and discounts may change at any time without prior notice. The price charged will be the price shown at the time you place your order and will appear in your order confirmation.

Unless stated otherwise, listed prices typically do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs, or import fees.

Promotions may be governed by separate terms. If promotional terms conflict with these Terms, the promotional terms control for that promotion.

You agree to provide and maintain accurate purchase, payment, and account information so we can complete transactions and contact you if needed. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted and that your payment provider will honor the charges.

SECTION 5 — SHIPPING, DELIVERY & RISK OF LOSS

Delivery dates and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather, or events outside our reasonable control.

Once the package is handed to the carrier, the risk of loss and responsibility for the shipment passes to you to the extent permitted by law.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for additional details.

SECTION 6 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services—including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, images, videos, audio, design, layout, and the selection/arrangement of these elements—is owned by Widelite or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written permission, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

Widelite names, logos, and brand elements are trademarks of Widelite. Shopify’s name and logos are trademarks of Shopify. Other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

SECTION 7 — OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to tools or services offered by third parties. We do not control these tools and provide them “as is” and “as available” without warranties or endorsements.

Your use of optional third-party tools is at your own risk, and you are responsible for reviewing any terms provided by the applicable third party.

We may add new features, tools, or resources in the future; they will also be considered part of the Services and subject to these Terms.

SECTION 8 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may include links to third-party websites, content, or functionality. We are not responsible for reviewing or evaluating third-party materials and do not guarantee their accuracy.

If you choose to access third-party sites, you do so at your own risk. Any issues, complaints, or claims related to third-party products/services should be directed to the relevant third party.

SECTION 9 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify. However, purchases made through our store are transactions between you and Widelite. You acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for the sale, the products, or any disputes arising from transactions between you and Widelite, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

SECTION 10 — PRIVACY

Personal information collected through the Services is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify may also collect and process information to provide and improve the platform and related services. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than where you live.

Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we, Shopify, and our partners handle your data.

SECTION 11 — FEEDBACK & USER CONTENT

If you submit reviews, suggestions, ideas, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant Widelite a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display that Feedback for any purpose, including commercial purposes, unless prohibited by law.

You represent that you own or have the rights necessary to submit Feedback and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We may remove Feedback at our discretion where permitted.

SECTION 12 — ERRORS & CORRECTIONS

Information on the Services may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including relating to product details, pricing, promotions, shipping costs, or availability). We may correct such issues and update information at any time without notice, including after an order is submitted, and may cancel orders where necessary.

SECTION 13 — PROHIBITED USES

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the Services to:

  • violate laws or regulations;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • harass, abuse, defame, threaten, or harm others;
  • submit false or misleading information;
  • send spam or unauthorized marketing;
  • introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • scrape, crawl, or collect data without permission;
  • interfere with security features or the operation of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

SECTION 14 — TERMINATION

We may terminate or restrict your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for any amounts due up to the termination date.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Feedback, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

SECTION 15 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and all products offered through the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

SECTION 16 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Widelite (including our affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, service providers, and licensors) and Shopify and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or replacement costs) arising out of or related to your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

In jurisdictions that do not allow limitations of liability, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

SECTION 17 — INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Widelite and Shopify (and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and service providers) from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your misuse of the Services.

SECTION 18 — SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

SECTION 19 — WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If we do not enforce any right or provision under these Terms, that does not waive our right to do so later. These Terms and referenced policies constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede prior agreements or communications.

SECTION 20 — ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset transfer, to the extent permitted by law.

SECTION 21 — GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any disputes arising from or related to the Services will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

SECTION 22 — HEADINGS

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

SECTION 23 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. It is your responsibility to check for updates. Changes take effect on the date posted (or the later date stated in the notice). Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
